Overview The Team Lead plays a key role in supporting the Foreman in overseeing daily operations of a commercial roofing crew. This position is responsible for helping manage projects from start to finish while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The Team Lead serves as the acting leader in the Foreman's absence and is a critical step in the leadership pipeline toward a Foreman role. Responsibilities Assist the Foreman with supervision and coordination of a 7-8 commercial roofing crew Help manage roofing projects from mobilization through completion Provide hands-on support with tear-offs and installations Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards Demonstrate leadership by taking charge of projects or crews when the foreman is absent Monitor crew productivity and maintain steady workflow on the jobsite Willingness to help with all aspects of the job to keep it running smoothly Assist in mentoring crew members, promoting skill development and accountability Requirements 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing with single-ply systems (TPO,EPDM, PVC), built-up roofing (BUR) Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, heavy lifting equipment, and fabrication techniques Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance Reliable, accountable and results-driven Solid problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights in various weather conditions Flexiblility to work overtime and weekends as needed What we offer: Full-time, year-round employment Weekly pay Job Profitability Bonus Opportunity Sign-On Retention Bonus Opportunity Medical, Dental, and Vision Company-paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Employee Referral Program Employee Assistance Program (at no cost to the employee) Paid time off (PTO) Increased PTO after 3 years of continuous employment Advancement opportunities Paid holidays after one year of employment Career Path Opportunity This position is designed to develop high-performing individuals into future Foreman through hands-on leadership experience, mentorship, and increased responsibility.
