  • The pay rate for this position is $27.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. As a Working Foreman with Goodyear Mileage, you will be responsible to professionally inspect, diagnose and repair commercial tires, while delivering excellent customer satisfaction.   • Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
  • + Manage day to day operations + Direct and supervise Mass Transit Tire coworkers + Manage customer interactions and satisfaction + Perform hands on tire service including: mounting, dismounting, and regrooving of heavy duty bus tires by both hand and machine, balancing, and flat repairs + Responsible for vehicle inspection, inflation maintenance and record keeping + Assist management with hiring/training needs + Comply with all safety and liability guidelines and policies + All other duties as assigned by management.
  • Basic Requirements:
  • + Previous management experience + Minimum 1 year experience working with Commercial Tires including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs + Position requires flexibility to work scheduled shifts including nights and weekends.
+ Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements, including be at least 21 years of age. + No relocation is being offered for this position. + Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • + High School Diploma or GED
  • Position Criteria:
  • + Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
+ Strong oral and written communication ability. + Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. + Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. + Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
