Job Summary Gridiron Guys is a growing, full-service residential and commercial exterior contractor serving Northeast Ohio. We are looking for team members that want to make a difference in the lives of other team members as well as our customers. Job Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor to oversee construction projects and lead a team of skilled workers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires hands-on experience in various trades, including commercial roofing, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Duties The skilled Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of roofing systems. Focusing on repairs and other jobs around Quality Control of our customers' roofs. Installation of different types of roofing systems such as EPDM, Single-ply and other forms of low-slope roofing systems Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.) Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site. Communicate with project managers regarding project progress, challenges, and timelines. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to specifications. Experience Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction methods. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
