Job Description

Description The Piping Foreman is responsible for the direct supervision of a crew engaged in the fabrication, installation, and testing of piping systems. This role ensures that all piping work is executed safely, meets all quality and code requirements, and is completed in alignment with the project schedule. + Plan, coordinate, and directly supervise the daily activities of the piping crew, including pipefitters and welders + Oversee all aspects of pipe system installation, from fabrication and material handling to final installation, support, and testing + Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometric drawings, and orthographic drawings to ensure accurate installation + Ensure all fabrication and installation work complies with applicable codes and standards, such as ASME B31.1 and B31.3 + Manage and direct pipe testing activities, including hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed + Coordinate with other craft foremen, particularly mechanical and structural, to deconflict work areas and ensure efficient workflow + Enforce all project safety procedures, with a strong focus on hot work, line breaking, confined space entry, and pressure testing hazards + Monitor crew productivity and work quality, providing guidance and making adjustments to meet project goals + Maintain accurate records for the crew, including daily reports, installed quantities, and weld tracking documentation Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
+ Minimum of 10 years' experience + Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy + Must be able to assess through Burns and McDonnell assessment program
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
+ Ability to stand, walk, sit, or reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, push and pull + Ability to use repetitive hand motions and the ability to grasp and operate field tools and equipment + Ability to climb on, in or through equipment in confined spaces and elevated work using fall protection harnesses + Ability to work long hours with infrequent days off, night shifts, and in adverse climates + Ability to use respirators or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus + Ability to utilize vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus + Ability to lift, carry and or move up to 50 pounds + Ability to work in an environment with loud noises and vibrations for extended periods of time + Ability to properly wear and/or use Personal Protection Equipment
