Job Description

The Construction Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards. The Foreman serves as the primary onsite leader and works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and office staff to maintain productivity and quality workmanship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and direct field crews on construction projects. Plan, assign, and coordinate daily work activities. Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, schedules, and company standards. Monitor employee productivity and workmanship. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce all safety policies and procedures. Train and mentor crew members on proper work methods, equipment operation, and safety practices. Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules. Review project plans, scopes of work, and specifications with crew members. Communicate project progress, delays, and issues to management. Complete and submit required documentation, including daily reports, timecards, job logs, and equipment reports. Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Address and resolve jobsite issues as they arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and security of company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and work orders. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and basic computer applications. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate construction equipment and tools. Working Conditions Construction job sites, including residential, commercial, industrial, and emergency response environments. May require overtime, weekend work, and on-call availability as needed. Operations Manager Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
