Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Co-Foreman in Training to join our dynamic team specializing in basement waterproofing and foundation repair. This paid training position offers a unique opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction management, project supervision, and technical troubleshooting within a fast-paced environment. As a Co-Foreman in Training, you will work closely with experienced foremen and project managers to oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards, and promote safety on construction sites. This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow their leadership abilities while gaining comprehensive knowledge of waterproofing techniques, foundation repair methods, and construction management software. Responsibilities Assist in supervising construction activities on basement waterproofing and foundation repair projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications Support the management of project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and Construction management software to meet deadlines efficiently Collaborate with team members to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution of work Help monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist in managing resources effectively to optimize productivity Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets industry standards and client expectations Use tools such as Ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure proper use of safety equipment like OSHA-compliant gear Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and team members to coordinate activities and resolve issues promptly Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with construction site operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating principles Knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid or similar programs is advantageous Demonstrated supervising or management experience in a construction environment is a plus Ability to read technical drawings and interpret construction plans accurately Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and protocols for construction sites Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and suppliers This position offers an exciting pathway into the world of construction management with a focus on waterproofing and foundation repair. Pay:
$19.00 - $35.00 per hour
