Construction Foreman Gardens of Edan LLC Scranton, PA $29.14 - $35.09 an hour - Full-time $29.14 - $35.09 an hour - Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This vital role involves managing on-site operations, supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Duties Lead and supervise construction crews, managing daily activities to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship. Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 and other project management software to meet deadlines and project milestones. Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to guide on-site activities accurately. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations by implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits. Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating to maintain financial control. Oversee construction safety management, enforce safety regulations, and conduct safety training sessions for crew members. Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate schedule updates, contracts, and project requirements. Supervise quality control measures, review construction drawings for accuracy, and ensure adherence to specifications. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools for documentation and project tracking. Manage crew management tasks including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and resolving on-site issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction site management. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid or similar platforms. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. Knowledge of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; OSHA certification preferred. Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques and project scheduling tools. Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and construction estimating processes. Excellent managerial communication skills for effective team leadership and client interactions. Familiarity with managing contracts and overseeing compliance with construction regulations. Ability to operate technical tools such as ohmmeters for quality inspections when necessary. Construction site experience in commercial or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
