Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an organized, highly communicative Landscaping Field Supervisor to lead our new-construction installation division. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between our company and residential production/spec home builders . You will be responsible for tracking fast-moving builder timelines, managing multiple crews, and coordinating the moving and transport of heavy equipment (skid steers, excavators, trailers) across multiple job sites in [Georgia / South Carolina].The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at scheduling logistics, and understands how to keep landscape installations perfectly synchronized with a home builder's closing schedule.
Core Responsibilities Builder Liaison & Communication:
Maintain daily communication with home builders, site superintendents, and project managers to coordinate landscape installations around their active schedules.Timeline Management:
Monitor and track tight builder construction timelines to ensure sod, irrigation, and plant installations are completed on time for certificate of occupancy (CO) inspections and home closings.Equipment & Logistical Moving:
Coordinate the daily transport, drop-off, and pick-up of heavy machinery (skid steers, trenchers, compactors) and trailers between various residential communities.Crew Leadership:
Manage and dispatch 4-6 installation crews daily, providing clear direction on job scope, ensuring pre and complete pictures inputted by teams, safety, and efficiency.Quality & Code Compliance:
Inspect completed jobs to ensure irrigation systems, drainage grading, and plantings meet elite company standards and local municipal codes. Utilizing our system to complete QC's on all finished projects.Qualifications & Skills Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in commercial or high-volume residential landscape installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisor or foreman role.Logistical Coordination:
Proven experience managing equipment logistics, trailer towing, and securing heavy machinery for transport.Builder-Facing Communication:
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; comfortable working alongside fast-paced residential construction supers.Technical Skills:
Ability to read landscape/irrigation blueprints, site plans, and understand finish grading.Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record ( required to drive company truck and haul trailers). Experience operating skid steers/track loaders is required.Job Type:
