Pipe Laying Foreman (Civil Site Work)
Pay:
$30-$40/hr
DOE Overtime:
10-15 hours/week average +
Large Annual Production Bonuses Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (Paid Through Lunch) | Saturdays Optional Full-Time | Permanent | Year-Round Work Can you lead a pipe crew that never needs to do it twice? Do you know underground utilities inside and out? Can you lay storm, water, and sewer while keeping production high, grades tight, and your crew safe? If you're the Foreman everyone trusts to get the job done right the first time, we want to talk. We're hiring an experienced Pipe Laying Foreman to lead underground utility crews for one of the Southeast's premier civil site contractors. This isn't a babysitting job—we're looking for someone who can run production, solve problems in the field, and take ownership of every project. What You'll Be Responsible For Lead and supervise a pipe crew installing storm drainage, water, and sewer utilities Keep projects on schedule while maintaining quality and production goals Read blueprints, utility plans, profiles, and grade stakes Shoot grades, verify elevations, and ensure pipe is installed to specification Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, inspectors, survey crews, and subcontractors Operate excavators or other equipment when needed to keep production moving Enforce safety standards and maintain an organized, productive jobsite Train and develop crew members while holding the team accountable What We're Looking For 5-10+ years of underground utility construction experience Previous experience leading a pipe crew as a Foreman Strong knowledge of storm drain, water main, sanitary sewer, and utility installation Ability to read construction plans and utility profiles Experience shooting grades and understanding elevations Comfortable operating excavators around live utilities and pipe crews GPS experience is a plus Valid driver's license Why This Company?
