Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Labor Foreman for immediate hire in the North Charleston, SC area.

PAY:

$30-$35/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS:

40-50 hours weekly!

Shifts will be approximately 10-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 4-5+ days per week

SCHEDULE

Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00 am-5:30 pm

Labor Foreman Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Labor Foreman to supervise, direct, and develop craft workers and field crews on a large-scale, 500,000-square-foot hospital construction project. The Labor Foreman will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate crews and multiple work scopes, review construction documents, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Interiors/General Trades construction, including interior specialties, Division 10, rough carpentry, and associated construction activities. Healthcare construction experience is preferred. Infection control, ICRA, and ILSM protocols will apply to this project.

Qualifications for

Labor Foreman:

Demonstrated ability to supervise, direct, and develop craft workers and field crews in a construction environment.

Working knowledge of Interiors/General Trades construction, including interior specialties, Division 10, rough carpentry, and associated work.

Ability to read, interpret, and execute work from construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Comfortable representing the company in team meetings and owner interactions.

Organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple scope items and floors simultaneously.

Proficiency with daily reporting tools, plan review software such as Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Autodesk experience is a plus.

Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Healthcare construction experience preferred.

OSHA 30-hour certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Physical Requirements for

Labor Foreman:

Must be able to perform job duties that require bending, standing, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and working in an active construction environment. The position may require working both indoors and outdoors and navigating active construction areas and multiple floors of a large hospital project.

Additional Requirements for

Labor Foreman:

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Must have reliable transportation to the job site.

Must be able to safely use required PPE and standard construction tools.

Position requires standard construction PPE, including steel-toe work boots, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and gloves.

OSHA 30-hour certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
