Field Plumbing Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee plumbing operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a background in construction plumbing. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team of plumbers, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate plumbing activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Lead a team of plumbers, providing guidance and training as necessary. Conduct inspections of plumbing installations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and welders to ensure seamless project execution. Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment, ensuring all necessary materials are available for ongoing projects. Troubleshoot plumbing issues that arise during construction and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and project updates. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Must be able to operate and move excavator Qualifications Proven experience in plumbing supervision or a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to plumbing measurements and material requirements. Experience in construction plumbing, welding, or maintenance person services is highly desirable. Must be capable of heavy lifting and standing for extended periods on construction sites. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
