This pivotal role involves supervising on-site activities, coordinating teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management software and technical drawings. As a Construction Foreman, you will drive project success by managing crews effectively, overseeing quality control, and ensuring adherence to all safety regulations. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Manage and coordinate construction schedules using project management tools to meet deadlines. Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to guide team work and ensure accuracy. Oversee crew management, including assigning tasks, supervising team members, and managing subcontractors to optimize productivity. Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel. Conduct quality control inspections and oversee construction safety management practices throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, procurement, contract management, and change order processing using Construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients to review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy and feasibility. Monitor construction schedule coordination efforts to ensure timely completion of project milestones. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary during construction phases. Requirements Proven experience in Residential construction projects with a strong background in supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. Proficiency in construction management. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities for effective managerial oversight and crew supervision. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and quality control procedures. Construction site experience in residential projects is essential; pipeline experience is a plus.
