Full Job Description Construction & Electrical Specialist Location:

We are hiring Construction & Electrical Specialists to complete in-shop build-out of above-ground fiberglass pool systems. The fiberglass shell is finished by a separate department; this role constructs the structural frame, installs plumbing and equipment, and completes the electrical work needed before delivery. You will assemble frames and reinforcement, run PVC and equipment connections, install lighting and controls, and inspect each system so it leaves the facility ready for final connection at the home. The work sits at the intersection of construction, plumbing, and electrical assembly. Key Responsibilities Construct and assemble structural frames and reinforcement systems for above-ground fiberglass pools. Install and connect pool plumbing systems, including pumps, filters, skimmers, returns, drains, water features, heaters, and related equipment. Measure, cut, assemble, and install PVC piping and fittings; complete connections, pressure testing, and leak inspections. Install pool lighting and connect wiring, conduit, controls, and other electrical components required for the pool system. Prepare the electrical system so the completed pool is ready for final connection when delivered to the homeowner. Read and follow construction plans, diagrams, measurements, and installation specifications; use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely. Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, or construction issues and inspect completed systems for quality, operation, and delivery readiness.
What We're Looking For Qualifications:
Previous construction, electrical, plumbing, or related hands-on experience preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and construction practices. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Ability to read basic measurements, diagrams, and installation instructions. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn company-specific pool construction methods and procedures. Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 lbs, and to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and work with hands for extended periods. Must work on-site in a shop/manufacturing environment. Safety glasses and other PPE are required as directed. Why Explore Industries?
Compensation Starting Rate:
$17.50 - $22.00 per hour Actual compensation will be based on experience and job-related skills.
