As specialists in road barrier and road sign installation and maintenance for the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), we are dedicated to creating safer roadways. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Construction Lead/Supervisor to join our team and help lead our projects to success.

Position Overview:
As a Highway Construction Lead/Supervisor at HJC, you will be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of dedicated Highway Construction Workers, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and TXDOT regulations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on road safety in Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of Highway Construction Workers Manage project timelines and resources effectively Oversee the installation and maintenance of guardrails, cable barriers, concrete barrier walls, and road signs Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and TXDOT regulations Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals Travel within Texas (Monday through Friday)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Class A CDL license is preferred but not required for initial hire Proven experience in highway construction or related field Strong leadership and supervisory skills Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments Commitment to safety and teamwork
