We are a growing Gate Operator and Access Control company servicing Austin and the surrounding area. Candidate will need to be reliable and adaptive to new situations on a daily basis. Previous knowledge in the field is a plus, we are able to train the right candidate. Someone with experience in Electrical, HVAC, Low Voltage and/or Welding may be a good fit.
Primary tasks include:
-Installation and service of Driveway Gate Operators. This can include welding work, concrete saw-cutting, conduit rough-ins, wire runs, electrical, construction skills, etc. -Installation and service of Access Contol Systems and hardware (Telephone Entry Systems, electric strikes, maglocks, card readers, door closers, etc). This will include low voltage runs, networking, conduit rough-ins, sheetrock repair, construction skills, basic locksmithing, etc. -Communicating with customers for sales, courtesy calls, onsite updates, post project correspondence. Job Requirements Current driver's license Clean background check Strong adaptive and diagnostic capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of electrical, construction, welding, low voltage, concrete work. Mechanical aptitude and highly skilled with hand/power tools. Welding and electrical experience a plus. Experience with installing slide gates and swing gates a plus. Experience with installing Access Control Systems and Door Hardware a plus. Electronic Access Control Device Installer License is a plus. Work Environment & Physical Demands Must be at least 18 years of age. Current Drivers License. Clean background check. Will be exposed to all types of weather on a regular basis. Be comfortable at large scale construction sites. Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weight (up to 80 lbs.) regularly Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time on all types of job sites. Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary.
