Position Type:
Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Pipefitting Foreman to support commercial and/or industrial construction projects in the Austin, TX area. This role is responsible for leading piping crews, coordinating daily field work, ensuring safety and quality standards, and completing work according to drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of piping crews. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, specifications, and project documents. Oversee installation of piping systems, supports, hangers, valves, fittings, and related components. Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed for assigned work. Track progress, identify delays, and communicate project needs to leadership. Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, other trades, and inspectors. Enforce jobsite safety practices and maintain a clean, organized work area. Mentor crew members and support quality, productivity, testing, punch lists, and closeout activities. Qualifications Previous experience as a Pipefitting Foreman or Piping Foreman in construction. Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation methods, materials, fittings, valves, and supports. Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, isometrics, and piping layouts. Experience leading crews and managing field productivity. Strong safety awareness, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. Reliable transportation and ability to work in the Austin, TX area. Preferred Qualifications Experience on commercial, industrial, mechanical, or large-scale construction projects. Knowledge of hydronic, chilled water, heating water, process piping, or mechanical piping systems. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience with layout, testing, commissioning support, or punch list completion. Additional piping, welding, rigging, lift, or trade-related certifications are a plus. Compensation Pay range is $38•44 per hour . Eligible candidates may receive a $5,000•8,000 sign-on bonus . Final compensation and bonus amount will be based on qualifications, experience, certifications, and overall fit for the role.
