Job Description

Mac Steel Services is looking for an experienced bilingual Rebar Foreman to lead a rebar tying crew of approximately 20-30 employees on a long-term project in Texas. This is a full-time, onsite position that will travel to future Mac Steel Services projects as work progresses. The Rebar Foreman will be responsible for managing the crew, coordinating manpower between shifts, verifying reinforcing steel is installed according to project drawings and specifications, and completing accurate daily reporting.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a rebar tying crew of approximately 20-30 employees Coordinate manpower and assignments between shifts Read and understand structural drawings, rebar details, and bar schedules Verify rebar placement, spacing, lap lengths, elevations, clearances, and installation against the plans Assign daily work and keep crews productive Complete daily reports covering manpower, production, progress, delays, and issues Communicate daily with project management and onsite supervision Coordinate with QA/QC and other crews to keep work moving Identify drawing or installation issues before work progresses Make sure work is ready for inspection and concrete placement Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish required Previous experience leading rebar or reinforcing steel crews Strong ability to read construction drawings and rebar details Experience managing larger field crews preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Comfortable completing daily field reports and tracking production Willing to travel and remain onsite for extended project durations
Pay:
$30.00 - $38.00 per hour
