Job Description
People Source is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman with a valid Journeyman Electrician License to lead electrical crews on a chemical plant project in Cleburne, Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial electrical experience, the ability to supervise and coordinate field personnel, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards in a chemical plant environment. Responsibilities Supervise and direct electrical crews for maintenance on an industial chemical plant Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safe work practices. Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and project documentation. Perform quality inspections to ensure installations meet project requirements. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems, including: Conduit systems (EMT, Rigid, PVC-coated, and Stainless Steel) Cable tray systems Motor controls and MCCs Switchgear and distribution equipment Instrumentation and control wiring Lighting and power systems Qualifications Current Journeyman Electrician License required. Minimum 4 years of industrial electrical experience. Previous experience as a Foreman or Lead Electrician preferred. Experience working in chemical plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, or heavy industrial environments. Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and construction documents. Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical codes. Requirements OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred. Ability to pass pre-employment screening and drug test. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and shutdown schedules as needed. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in industrial environments, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
