Approximately 6-10 months, with potential for additional projects We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee an upcoming project in the Fort Worth, Texas area , beginning in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional looking for a long-term opportunity, as additional projects are anticipated following the initial assignment. Qualifications 7-10+ years of construction superintendent experience Must currently reside in Texas , preferably in the Fort Worth/Dallas area Strong background in general building construction and civil/site construction Proven ability to supervise subcontractors, crews, and field operations Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and quality control Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents Strong understanding of safety requirements and OSHA standards Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients Experience managing multiple trades and maintaining project schedules Preferred Construction Experience Candidates with experience in several of the following areas are strongly preferred: General building construction Interior build-outs and renovations Flooring installation Tile installation Ceilings and drywall Bathrooms and restroom construction Plumbing fixtures and finish work Doors, hardware, and architectural finishes Concrete and foundations Site work and site development Civil construction Underground utilities Grading and excavation Storm drainage Paving and asphalt Curbs, sidewalks, and concrete flatwork Landscaping and site restoration Utility installation Construction layout and field coordination Punch-list and closeout activities Responsibilities The Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of field operations , including: Directing and coordinating subcontractors and field crews Maintaining project schedules and production Ensuring work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards Coordinating inspections and resolving field issues Monitoring site safety and enforcing company safety policies Reviewing plans and identifying potential conflicts or constructability issues Coordinating materials, deliveries, equipment, and manpower Maintaining daily reports and project documentation Managing project sequencing and scheduling between multiple trades Performing quality-control inspections Managing punch-list items and project closeout Communicating regularly with the Project Manager and leadership team What We Offer This initial project is expected to last approximately 8-10 months , with the potential for additional projects and continued work in the Texas market for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, organized, hands-on, and capable of taking ownership of a project from mobilization through completion.
