Job Summary GST Construction Inc. is a civil construction company focused on land development infrastructure throughout the Rio Grande Valley. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Underground Utility & Paving Foreman to lead field crews on active civil construction projects. The Foreman will coordinate daily utility and paving operations, maintain safe and productive jobsites, and work closely with the Superintendent to keep projects moving on schedule.

Work Area:

Field projects in Alton, McAllen, San Juan, La Villa, Harlingen, and throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

Foreman Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate daily field crews performing underground utility and paving work. Read and interpret civil plans, profiles, grades, and jobsite layouts. Establish and verify grades and elevations using laser equipment. Installation of water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems. Coordinate excavation, trenching, pipe installation, backfill, and compaction. Lead roadway construction operations on subgrade, flex base, curb, and paving. Manage project production, equipment, materials, and labor. Maintain jobsite safety standards and address field concerns promptly. Monitor work quality, productivity, and progress toward project schedules. Communicate project needs, progress, and issues to the Superintendent and PM.

Qualifications:

Bilingual English/Spanish communication. Operate Motor grader and Excavator At least 5 years of foreman or crew-lead experience in civil construction. Demonstrated field experience in underground utilities, paving, or both. Experience coordinating daily work activities on active jobsites. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
