Lead Commercial FF&E and Glazing Projects Job Overview Company:

Salary/Pay Rate:
$38 to $46 per hour (Based on experience) plus Travel Per Diem.
Location:
Provo, UT (100% Travel Required).
Job/Employment Type:
Full Time.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, Weekends, and Overtime.

Commercial FF&E, Glazing, and Interiors.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications:
Valid Driver's License and OSHA 30. The Opportunity You will serve as the foundational field leader for a growing commercial interiors firm, taking direct ownership of high-profile glazing and FF&E installations. This role is designed for a "lead from the front" professional who thrives on traveling to premier locations and maintaining elite standards of craftsmanship. You will have the unique chance to shape the company culture as a key early hire while mentoring a tight-knit crew. How You Will Make an Impact Direct the daily installation of storefronts and architectural partitions to ensure precision. Lead and work alongside field crews to maintain a high-performance environment rooted in accountability and safety. Interpret complex shop drawings and elevations to guide the precise layout and alignment of glass and framing systems. Coordinate directly with General Contractors and site supervisors to resolve logistical conflicts and maintain strict project timelines. Oversee the secure rigging and handling of specialized materials to prevent onsite hazards and ensure zero-defect delivery. Manage daily administrative tasks including manpower tracking, material inspections, and safety meeting documentation. Mentor junior installers by demonstrating advanced technical workflows and fostering a culture of professional growth. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience specifically within commercial glazing or FF&E installation. Proven ability to lead large crews and execute complex technical work with an "owner's mindset." Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting glazing shop drawings, details, and construction specifications. Absolute willingness to travel up to 100% of the time to project sites across the country. Strong physical capability to lift 75-100 lbs and work comfortably at heights on active jobsites. Demonstrated expertise in commercial door hardware, metal storefronts, and interior partition systems. Experience using booms, lifts, and specialized rigging equipment. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Completion of a formal apprenticeship or specialized technical training in glazing systems. Valid lift and rigging certifications for handling heavy glass and framing components. Experience with major glazing system manufacturers and high-end architectural finishes. Proven track record of tracking labor productivity and job costing in a field environment. Compensation & Benefits Bi-weekly pay cycle with competitive hourly rates.
