Job Summary:
The Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Project Superintendent to join our team. This is an in-field position based in the DMV area that will drive large data center projects.Key Responsibilities:
Manage field operations for the project. Collaborate and support the trade foreman. Manage subcontractors. Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor and owners' representatives. Manage project schedule to ensure meeting project milestones and completion date requirements. In collaboration with the trade foreman, forecast and manage labor on the project utilizing the labor application Bowers uses. Forecast and manage fabrication schedules as required. Manage and participate in the BIM/coordination process. Maintain professional communications with coworkers and clients. Coordinate with staff from all departments as needed throughout the entirety of the project. Attend client project meetings including pull planning meetings. Will be required to be on job sites during construction activities and during critical project times. Provide problem solving skills as required throughout the project.Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
5+ years of mechanical construction management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods of time and traverse different types of terrain and elevations Ability to climb stairs and ladders Ability to lift up to 50lbs from different levels Data center project experience preferredAdditional Information:
