Earn $35-$55 per hour based on your experience and leadership abilities Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability 401(k) with company match Company vehicle and fuel card (when applicable) Build and lead your own crew Opportunities for advancement and continued career growth Year-round, steady work with an established company Why You'll Love Working Here Lead a team that takes pride in quality workmanship Mentor apprentices and electricians as they grow in the trade Enjoy the support of experienced leadership that values your input Work with one of the region's most respected electrical contractors Help shape the future of a company that invests in its employees Your New Role As a Commercial Electrical Foreman, you'll lead crews installing electrical systems on commercial construction projects by: Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of electricians and helpers Planning work to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations Coordinating daily work with general contractors, project superintendents, project managers, and other trades Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical plans, specifications, and project documents Performing and overseeing the installation of conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, and other commercial electrical systems Ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and applicable building codes Training and mentoring apprentices and electricians Coordinating material needs and maintaining an organized, productive job site Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring company safety policies are followed What We're Looking For Minimum of three (3) years of commercial electrical construction experience Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Electrician Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, conduit installation, and the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, specifications Ability to plan work, delegate responsibilities, and keep crews productive Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Commitment to mentoring and developing apprentices and electricians Dependable, organized, and committed to delivering quality workmanship Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Authorized to work in the United States Southern Electrical is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
