TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE LINER EXPERIENCE.
This role is responsible for installation of geosynthetic lining, erosion control solutions such as Hydroturf and underground detention facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties:
Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progression and resource allocation Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and any additional project costs Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and team to determine budget and timeline and then execute a plan that brings the project in on time and on budget Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers Create schedules for workers and subcontractors Review Foreman logs daily, communicate with for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient keeping job costs on target
Skills & Experience:
Strong work ethic Must have physical stamina sufficient to perform construction type work such as: lifting and carrying approximately 50 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment, outside for 8-10-hour shifts Understanding of the operations and maintenance of lister, grinder, sewing machines, wedge welder and basic liner equipment. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to organize schedule. Solve disputes between workers. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of the construction industry and processes. Underground detention, concrete, pipe and/or earthwork experience is a benefit. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and blueprints. Willingness and ability to travel and be away from home 100% of the time. Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices Good planning skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues Understanding of local, state and federal construction regulations Effective leadership abilities; motivation, goal-setting and conflict management Time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking Why EXACT Stormwater Management?
