Commercial/Industrial Electrical Foreman - Newport News, VA We're hiring experienced Foremen who can lead crews, run jobsites, and take ownership of project execution in the field. This is a working leadership role. You are responsible for how the job is built, ensuring all project resources are ready to go, how the crew performs, and how the company is represented on site. Project success starts from beginning to end. What You'll Do You'll lead daily field operations on active electrical projects, managing crews, workflow, and jobsite coordination. You'll be responsible for keeping work moving safely, efficiently, and according to plan while ensuring quality and schedule expectations are met. You will also be the main point of communication in the field working with project managers, general contractors, customers, and internal teams to keep projects aligned and on track. What This Role Demands Success requires leadership under real jobsite conditions managing crews, schedule pressure, changing field conditions, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. Strong Foremen anticipate problems, address them early, and keep work moving without losing alignment to scope, safety, or expectations.
Required:
5+ years commercial/industrial electrical experience 2+ years Foreman or field leadership experience Experience on Federal projects Experience in underground utility work Ability to lead 5-20 person crews Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications OSHA 30 certification Valid driver's license with clean record Strong communication and leadership skills Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to use tools like Procore / Bluebeam for reporting and coordination What Success Looks Like Projects run safely, smoothly, and on schedule.
