Full Job Description Introduction:

Welcome to the role of Deck Installation Foreman! In this position, you will be responsible for the planning, construction, and repair of decks. You will be the go-to expert for all deck-related projects and will be expected to provide exceptional customer service. Your expertise, attention to detail, and passion for carpentry will be essential in creating aesthetically pleasing and safe outdoor living spaces. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, an excellent communicator and has a keen eye for detail. We believe that you have the skills and experience to be a successful and valued member of our team! Must have deck building experience!

Job Responsibilities:

Construct decks according to provided designs and drawings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Install decking, railings, stairs, and other components Inspect and repair existing decks for safety and structural integrity Follow all local building codes and regulations Work with other tradesmen to ensure proper installation Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of decks Assist with the design and selection of deck materials and accessories Provide customer service and advice to clients Keep work area neat and organized

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in deck building Proven track record of successful and safe deck construction Knowledge of all applicable building codes and safety regulations Ability to design and construct decks using a variety of materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow complex instructions Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials Ability to lift and carry heavy objects Ability to work well with others and lead a team Excellent organizational and communication skills Flexibility to work long hours and travel as needed Applicants must meet the legal driving age requirements and hold a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
