Woodworking Full Job Description Overview:
Campbell Construction is a full-service commercial general contractor located in Mukwonago, WI. As an employee-owned company, we take pride in our team members' ability to make a positive impact on the community through their daily work and enjoyment of the construction process. We offer opportunities that involve coordinating a carpentry team's activities, planning and scheduling tasks, ensuring safety regulation compliance, and overseeing carpentry projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing construction projects' subcontractors and effectively managing carpenters per the construction timeline provided by the construction project manager. Must be able to self-perform rough and finish carpentry as needed per project. Supervise and delegate tasks to carpenters and other construction workers. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes to keep the jobsite safe, clean, and orderly. Interpret and implement blueprints to ensure project success. Address any client concerns or complaints in a professional manner. Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the project are available and properly maintained. Order materials and equipment as required for the project with reference to our procurement department. Coordinate with suppliers to receive materials on site. Provide quality control for all completed works. Willing to travel.
Qualifications:
Must reside in Wisconsin Extreme attention to detail Proven experience as a carpenter foreman or similar supervisory role Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Organized, task-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team setting Good physical condition/stamina required as a general labor will be needed 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED in skilled trade will be a plus Minimum of 5 years foreman experience and 3 years superintendent in the industry Ability to shift tasks at a moment's notice Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines Pay is based on experience
