Job Description
Overview We are a locally owned and operated company that designs and manufactures innovative products for rural Alaska and the oil and gas industries. We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing frameworks and siding for buildings and other structures, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work alone and collaboratively with other team members on-site. The work will be mostly indoors but will require occasional days outdoors. We are a fun high energy team that is looking for someone that is excited to work and eager to learn. Responsibilities Construct and install frameworks for walls, floors, and roofs using metal stud framing techniques. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Skills Proficient in installation techniques related to framing and construction. Experience with power tools such as saws, drills, and rivet guns. Strong ability to build frameworks according to specifications. Familiarity with metal stud framing processes is desirable. Understanding of construction management principles to coordinate tasks effectively. Excellent blueprint reading skills to accurately follow design plans. Ability to work efficiently on a construction site while maintaining safety standards. We are a small professional business that is looking for a long term employee to join our team.
