Independent Contractor / AK Business License Required Remote Alaska Solutions is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain our construction crew housing facility in Kenai until approximately October 2026, with the opportunity to transition into ongoing commercial/industrial office cleaning work after construction is complete. This position is ideal for an experienced independent housekeeping professional who takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary living spaces. The ideal candidate would be able to start work immediately. About the Property Our crew housing consists of a 2,996-square-foot home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms that accommodates approximately 10-25 employees, contractors, and guests throughout the construction season. Maintaining a clean, comfortable environment is an important part of supporting our crews and visitors. The company provides all cleaning supplies. Schedule Service is required four days per week:Wednesday:
Full deep clean and room turnover for weekly crew changeoverThursday:
Follow-up cleaning and preparation after new crew arrival- Two additional service days each week (flexible scheduling) This position will continue until approximately October 2026, with the possibility of long-term work cleaning a nearby company industrial office thereafter. Responsibilities
- General housekeeping throughout the home
- Deep cleaning of bathrooms and common areas
- Sanitizing high-touch surfaces
- Laundry, including linens and towels
- Bedroom turnover between occupants
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Emptying trash and replenishing household supplies
- Coordinating supply needs with company administrative staff
- Reporting maintenance concerns
- Maintaining a consistently clean, organized, and welcoming environment Qualifications
- Current applicable Alaska business license / independent contractor
- 1-3 years of professional housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Experience with deep cleaning and sanitation
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working around employees and guests Preferred Qualifications
- Experience cleaning employee housing, lodges, vacation rentals, camps, or commercial facilities
- Experience managing laundry for multiple occupants
- Familiarity with cleaning products and sanitation best practices Compensation $30-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
