Pool Construction Laborer

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Construction Laborer and be a vital part of creating stunning, high-quality swimming pools that transform outdoor spaces. This role offers hands-on involvement in all phases of pool construction, from excavation to finishing touches. Ideal candidates are motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced construction environment. Some construction and/or pool building experience is required, as well as a strong work ethic and a passion for building and working outside! We are looking for someone who we can depend on to show up on time every day they are scheduled to work, and follow instructions from their superiors. This position provides opportunities for growth within the company as well as the pool construction industry. Duties Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and debris removal to ensure a safe and efficient workspace Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision to perform tasks such as concrete forming, trenching, and material handling Follow instructions from the Construction Foreman, ability to read blueprints/schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute pool layouts and structural components Support installation of plumbing, and other mechanical elements essential for pool functionality Help with the installation of pool shells, coping, decking, vinyl liners, plastering, tile laying, and finishing touches to ensure quality craftsmanship Conduct routine inspections of work sites to uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with building codes Collaborate with team members on tasks such as framing, masonry, concrete, vinyl pool liners, above ground pool installations Skills Familiarity with reading drawings/schematics for pools for accurate project execution Experience and/or knowledge in construction and estimating processes is a plus Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation enhances productivity Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, concrete finishing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, vinyl pool liner installations, and above ground pools Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site with other employees Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction site operations and equipment handling This role offers an exciting opportunity to build expertise across multiple trades within the expansive field of pool construction.
