Incentives Summary:
As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting our concrete construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and general labor tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals and gain hands-on experience in the commercial concrete industry. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Site Preparation:
Assist with clearing and preparing job sites by removing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring the area is safe and ready for construction activities.Material Handling:
Load, unload, and move materials such as concrete, rebar, forms, and tools to and from the job site as needed. Assisting withConcrete Work:
Help with the placing and finishing of concrete by following directions from skilled concrete workers and supervisors.Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and operate basic construction tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and small machinery.General Labor:
Assist in general labor tasks such as excavation and formwork placement.Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your teammates.Job Site Cleanliness:
Maintain cleanliness on the job site by disposing of waste materials and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.Support Crew Members:
Work as part of a team to support various tasks and contribute to the overall progress of the project.Work Under Supervision:
Follow instructions from supervisors and more experienced crew members while working on-site.Physical Labor:
Perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.Education/Skill Requirements :
Experience:
No prior experience required, but previous laborer or construction experience is a plus.Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in various weather conditions.Work Ethic:
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.Safety Awareness:
Basic understanding of construction site safety and willingness to follow safety protocols at all times. OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus but not required.Communication Skills:
Basic communication skills to follow instructions and work with a team.Reliability:
Dependable and consistent attendance is a must.Tool Use:
Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment. Willingness toLearn:
Motivated to learn new skills and take direction from more experienced workers.Physical Demands :
Ability to continuously sit, stand, or walk. Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work in heat or cold, work outside, and work in high elevations. Work environment : Job site AA/EOE.
