Ryatt Construction AZ LLC is hiring experienced and dependable Construction Crew Members to join our growing field operations team in the Phoenix area. We are looking for individuals with hands-on construction experience who are comfortable working as part of a crew and are willing to contribute across a variety of field activities. Experience with underground utilities, main line installation, pipe work, excavation, equipment operation, or general construction is highly valued. Competitive benefits package Position Overview As a Construction Crew Member, you will support the successful completion of field projects by performing a combination of equipment operation, grading, underground construction, pipe installation, excavation support, and general labor duties. Responsibilities will vary based on experience, qualifications, and project needs. The ideal candidate is versatile and willing to step into different responsibilities to help the crew maintain productivity, safety, and quality throughout the workday. Key Responsibilities  Assist with underground construction, main line utility installation, and grading activities.  Assist with pipe installation, alignment, connections, bedding, and related activities.  Support excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and compaction operations, including assisting with grade preparation and maintaining proper site elevations as directed.  Operate construction equipment when properly trained and qualified.  Assist equipment operators and other crew members with daily production activities.  Safely handle, stage, and move pipe, materials, tools, and equipment.  Perform general construction labor and jobsite support duties.  Assist with site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and maintaining an organized work area.  Work around heavy equipment, excavations, vehicles, and active construction operations while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings.  Follow direction from Foremen, Superintendents, and project leadership.  Identify and communicate jobsite hazards, utility conflicts, equipment concerns, or other issues.  Follow company safety policies, project requirements, and applicable jobsite regulations.  Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns when applicable.  Perform additional duties as needed to support the crew and successful project completion. Experience & Qualifications We are open to candidates with different levels of construction experience.
The following experience is preferred:
 Underground utility or main line construction experience  Pipe installation experience  Excavation and trenching experience  Construction equipment operating experience  General construction or civil construction experience  Experience working as part of a production-focused construction crew Additional qualifications include:  Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and active construction operations  Ability to follow verbal and written instructions  Strong awareness of jobsite safety  Reliable attendance and punctuality  Reliable transportation to and from jobsites  Strong work ethic and positive attitude  Ability to work effectively as part of a team  Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities  Ability to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as project needs require Physical & Work Environment This is an active, hands-on construction position. Employees should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around heavy equipment, vehicles, excavations, and other construction activities. The position may require prolonged standing and walking, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting, carrying materials, using hand tools, and performing physically demanding work throughout the workday.
