Landscape Construction Crew Member (Commercial) Job Summary The Landscape Construction Crew Member supports commercial landscape installation projects such as office parks, retail centers and industrial properties. This role focuses on site preparation, planting, irrigation, and landscape installation while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards on large-scale job sites. Key Responsibilities Assist with commercial landscape installation projects, including: Site preparation, grading, and soil installation Tree, shrub, sod, and ground cover installation Mulching and finish landscape details Irrigation system installation, repairs, and adjustments Drainage and erosion control measures Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely Load, unload, and transport plants, materials, and equipment Follow project plans, layouts, and supervisor direction Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet project schedules Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Communicate effectively with crew leaders and team members Qualifications & Skills Previous commercial landscaping or construction experience preferred (Required) Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic understanding of landscaping tools and materials Willingness to learn irrigation, planting techniques, and equipment operation Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain Ability to work in heat, cold, and other outdoor conditions Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, Monday-Friday ( Required ) Temporary position Outdoor commercial job sites, including active construction areas
