Job Description

Join our self-performing construction repair contracting team! In this energetic role, you will actively contribute to a variety of small to medium repair construction projects, utilizing your expertise with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality workmanship. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help bring construction visions to life while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills across multiple trades and project types, from concrete finishing, masonry, dirt work, metal work, to finishing and restoration. An existing skilled individual is preferred however anyone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn is very welcomed. We are a small independent contracting team working mainly with property management companies to aid in repair needs to their associated residential communities to commercial buildings. Our company's reputation and experience is sought out by clients for our wide range of specialties, swift repair/construction methods, and integrity. Previous employees enjoy the position because the type of work changes from day to day or week to week, they learn and or utilize a large range of skill sets, and projects are usually uncrowded workspaces. We arrive on site, usually perform the work in a quiet community environment with a focus on quality and cleanliness. Often times if daily work is completed early, employees are able to go home with a full day's pay. Same for projects which are scheduled to last longer. For example, if a 5-day scheduled repair is performed in less days due to an employee's focus and a strong work ethic or efforts, employees could be provided the remaining week off with a full week's pay should the project's budget allows for it. The tradeoff being on days when a full day work is required, it is performed energetically with focus and a good attitude. Time off needed is never frowned on if the request is provided in a reasonable time frame where the work can be scheduled accordingly. There is little to no requirement or need for weekend work. There is unlimited room for growth potential to develop as a team leader or other roles and responsibilities. Assist with the preparation and performance of contracting repair methods. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to perform tasks such as demolition, concrete finishing, masonry, metal work, structural repairs, wood structure replacements/repairs, dirt work, rip-rap, and more. Complete work tasks from start to finish timely with focus and full concentrated effort. Proven experience in construction trades, labor roles, and strong work ethics or a strong desire to learn. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of various trades including wood repairs, masonry, concrete work, equipment operation, metal work, and more Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining safety protocols at all times Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials, stand or move for extended periods, and an ability to handle the Tucson summer heat Valid driver's license or reliable transportation is preferred for site access Join us if you're passionate about building excellence!
