- Full-time The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across multiple construction trades and be capable of performing, coordinating, and overseeing various phases of residential and commercial construction.
This individual must be able to read and interpret construction documents, identify field issues, coordinate with subcontractors and project management, and perform high-quality hands-on work when required.
This position is best suited for a seasoned construction professional who takes pride in their workmanship, has strong problem-solving abilities, and understands how to successfully complete projects from foundation through final finish. Required Experience & Qualifications Blueprint Reading & Project Coordination Extensive experience reading and interpreting architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and shop drawings. Ability to understand project specifications and construction details. Experience performing field layout, measurements, elevations, and trade coordination. Ability to identify potential construction conflicts and provide practical solutions before they impact project schedules. Concrete & Foundations Experience setting and constructing concrete forms. Ability to layout and construct footings, stem walls, slab-on-grade foundations, retaining walls, and structural concrete components. Knowledge of rebar placement, embeds, anchor bolts, and foundation preparation. Ability to execute foundation work in accordance with plans and specifications. Wood & Metal Stud Framing Extensive experience framing single-story and multi-story residential structures. Extensive experience with commercial construction and tenant improvement projects. Proficient in both wood framing and light-gauge/heavy-gauge metal stud framing systems.

Exterior walls Load-bearing walls Interior partitions Soffits Bulkheads Fur-downs Ceiling framing systems Custom architectural features Knowledge of shaft walls, fire-rated assemblies, backing, blocking, headers, beams, and suspended framing systems. Ability to accurately construct framing assemblies directly from construction plans. Plumbing Proficient in residential and commercial plumbing systems. Ability to perform rough plumbing installations and finish plumbing trim-outs. Experience with water distribution systems, drain-waste-vent systems, fixture installations, and plumbing repairs. Ability to identify plumbing conflicts and coordinate corrective solutions. Electrical Knowledge & Trade Coordination Strong understanding of residential and commercial electrical systems and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, panel schedules, riser diagrams, and project specifications. Capable of identifying electrical scope requirements and coordinating effectively with electricians, project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors. Knowledge of conduit routing, panel locations, circuiting requirements, lighting layouts, equipment clearances, and rough-in requirements. Ability to identify conflicts between electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, and architectural elements before installation. Experience coordinating electrical work on residential, commercial, tenant improvement, and ground-up construction projects. Drywall & Finishes Ability to professionally hang drywall on walls and ceilings. Experience taping, floating, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall. Ability to match and apply various drywall textures, including: Orange Peel Knockdown Skip Trowel Hand Texture Smooth Finish Custom Texture Matching Doors, Hardware & Finish Carpentry Experience installing commercial and residential doors and frames.

Acoustical Ceilings (ACT) Experience installing suspended acoustical ceiling systems. Ability to layout and install ceiling grid systems, ceiling tile, seismic bracing, and related components. Experience coordinating ceiling installations with HVAC, electrical, fire sprinkler, and low-voltage systems. General Construction Knowledge Extensive understanding of residential, commercial, and tenant improvement construction. Experience with remodels, additions, occupied renovations, and ground-up construction projects. Ability to perform demolition, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall repairs, framing modifications, and general construction tasks. Strong understanding of jobsite safety, quality control, construction sequencing, and project scheduling. Ability to professionally represent the company when interacting with clients, inspectors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of residential and commercial construction experience. Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter, Foreman, Superintendent, or Senior Tradesman. OSHA certifications are a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills. Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation. Ability to safely operate construction tools, equipment, and machinery. Compensation & Advancement Compensation will be based upon experience, qualifications, skill level, and overall construction knowledge.
