Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Construction Laborer supports all phases of new home construction by assisting skilled trades, maintaining a clean and safe job site, and performing general labor tasks. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment. Prepare and clean construction sites. Remove debris and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Safely operate power tools in which you are trained and proficient. Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Observe all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned to support construction operations. Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas during repairs. Come equipped with own tools. Must obtain active cell phone receives a monthly stipend a month for usage. Daily communication with On-site Superintendents, Area Managers and VP's.
Qualifications:
Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding conditions. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Basic knowledge of construction tools and job site safety is a plus.
Skills:
Strong work ethic and dependability. Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team. Good communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Willingness to learn new construction skills.
Working Conditions:
Monday
  • Friday 7am
  • 3:30pm Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, and walking on uneven terrain. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and work boots.
Pay:
$18.00
  • $20.
00 per hour
