Job Description
Construction Laborer, Colton, CA At Baja Construction Co., Inc., construction laborers work with a team to excavate, frame, and pour concrete to erect steel structures. Workers learn to operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, screw, and impact guns, lifting equipment and other equipment. All workers are instructed to work safely, and carefully at all times. Our work involves physical labor requiring ability to lift/unload supplies, materials, and/or heavy equipment is required. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, etc. Project work can be conducted at various construction sites in Southern CA and may also require overnight travel to projects as assigned. The laborer must have reliable transportation to be able to report to the Colton, CA main facility. The starting payrate is $20-25 DOE/hour and may vary based on related work experience. We work as a team and will train willing individuals who desire to start a career in the construction trades. Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen upon receiving offer of employment.
