Job Description
Under general supervision, performs all or any combination of routine or specialized duties such as rough carpentry, concrete work, masonry work, earthwork, equipment operation and maintenance; installs concrete pipe, installs and repairs precast and cast-in-place structures; and repairs facilities within the existing canal and drainage systems. Performs other duties as assigned. High school equivalency and supplemental college courses related to construction management, civil engineering, or construction technology and three (3) years of progressively responsible construction and maintenance experience. A valid Class "A" driver's license issued by the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles is required or ability to obtain within seven months from date of hire. Hazardous Material and Tanker Endorsements required. A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment. Employees must notify supervision when applying for a position.
