General Construction Worker / Plumber

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Construction Worker with a strong emphasis in plumbing to join our team. This role involves supporting a variety of construction projects while specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and experienced in both general construction tasks and plumbing work.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with general construction duties including site preparation, material handling, demolition, and cleanup Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans Measure, cut, and assemble pipes using appropriate tools and techniques Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, defects, and code compliance Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades on-site Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred 2+ years of construction experience with a focus on plumbing Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA standards Valid driver's license

Working Conditions:
