We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Plumber's Assistant / Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will work directly alongside an experienced Journeyman Plumber, providing hands-on support on active job sites while learning the trade from the ground up. Plumbing Apprentice Key Responsibilities:

Assist Journeyman Plumber:

Work directly with lead plumbers to complete residential and/or commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and underground work.

Job Site Preparation & Cleanup:

Stage materials, unload equipment, carry tools, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Tool & Material Handling:

Utilize and maintain basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Vehicle & Inventory Management:

Drive company work vehicles to deliver tools, parts, and materials to various job sites across the service area. Keep work trucks clean and stocked.

Support Demolition & Trenching:

Help perform basic site tasks such as digging trenches, core drilling, cutting pipe, and removing old fixtures or piping.

Learn & Develop:

Pay close attention to trade techniques, plumbing codes, and safety protocols to transition into an Apprentice role.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Basic knowledge or background in general construction, hand tools, or trades (0-2 years of experience preferred).

Valid Driver's License:

A clean, valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record to operate company vehicles is required.

Tool Familiarity:

Basic knowledge of standard hand tools (wrenches, tape measure, levels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders).

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physical work including heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs), bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces or outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Ethic & Reliability:

Punctual, eager to learn, takes direction well, and maintains a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Communication:

Clear communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with teammates and clients.

Working Conditions:
