Job Title:
Solar Laborer - Wire Management Job Description This role supports the installation and maintenance of solar arrays with a primary focus on wire management. You work outdoors in varying weather conditions, manage and secure wiring using appropriate tools and materials, and consistently follow established safety guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient worksite. Responsibilities Perform wire management on solar arrays, including organizing, routing, and securing cables using zip ties and other approved methods. Support general solar construction and labor tasks as directed to ensure smooth installation and maintenance activities. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and the team. Use first aid, CPR, and AED skills if needed to respond appropriately to onsite incidents or emergencies. Work outdoors in various weather conditions and remain comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the entire shift. Stand, walk, and move continuously for the duration of the workday while handling tools, materials, and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that wiring and materials are neatly managed and do not create hazards. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report any safety or equipment concerns. Essential Skills Previous experience in solar labor or solar construction. Hands-on experience with wire management on solar arrays, including use of zip ties. Ability to perform general labor tasks in a construction or solar installation environment. Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. Strong commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols. Ability to work outdoors in the elements for the entire shift. Physical ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the workday. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on solar arrays or similar renewable energy projects. Experience in construction or related trades. Comfort using basic hand tools and equipment commonly used in solar and construction work. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic in physically demanding environments. Why Work Here? The setting is a solar construction site, where you work around solar arrays, wiring, and standard construction tools and equipment, following strict safety practices and site procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
