Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Equipment Operator/Laborer and become a vital part of building infrastructure that shapes communities! This energetic role combines skilled operation of heavy machinery with hands-on labor to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will operate a variety of equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machines. Your expertise will help drive project success from site preparation through final touches. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, water trucks, and horizontal drilling rigs to support various phases of construction projects. Assist with site preparation by leveling ground, digging trenches, and moving materials using appropriate machinery. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team. Support construction activities by performing manual labor tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and assisting crew members as needed. Coordinate with supervisors to execute project plans efficiently and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Operate specialized machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and paving machines for specific project requirements. Experience Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, or water trucks on construction sites is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and basic troubleshooting skills are essential. Commercial driving experience with valid licenses for operating dump trucks or tanker vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and paving operations will set you apart. Hands-on experience working on construction sites involving grading, paving, or water truck operations is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments is required. Join us in building something great!
