Job Description Job Description Job Description Position Summary Green Harbour Construction is seeking an experienced construction laborer to support ground-up construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction-site experience, takes pride in quality work, follows safety procedures, and works effectively with supervisors and skilled trades. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain job sites, including setting up work areas, protecting surrounding surfaces, and keeping access routes clear. Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials using safe handling methods. Assist carpenters, plumbers, and other skilled trades with material preparation, installation support, and general construction tasks. Perform demolition, debris removal, digging, backfilling, and basic site preparation as assigned and within training and authorization. Use hand and power tools safely; operate equipment only when trained and authorized. Follow instructions, project plans, and site-specific procedures to complete assigned work accurately. Maintain clean, orderly work areas and properly separate and dispose of construction waste. Wear required personal protective equipment, report hazards promptly, and follow applicable safety requirements. Communicate task progress, material needs, and job-site concerns to the supervisor. Follow access, security, and conduct procedures when working in secure facilities or occupied multifamily properties. Required Qualifications Previous hands-on experience as a construction laborer or in a similar construction-site role. Familiarity with common construction materials, hand tools, power tools, and job-site safety practices. Ability to follow directions, work effectively with a crew, and complete tasks with attention to detail. Reliable attendance and punctuality, with reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites. Ability to perform essential job duties safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to follow site-specific access and security requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting ground-up construction, renovations, or maintenance work. Experience working in occupied multifamily properties or secure facilities. Relevant construction safety training or certifications. Experience assisting with concrete, carpentry, or plumbing work.
