This energetic role offers hands-on involvement in a variety of building projects, from commercial renovations to new construction sites. As a Construction Laborer, you'll work alongside skilled tradespeople to execute essential tasks that bring architectural visions to life. This paid position provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in multiple construction disciplines while contributing to high-quality projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization at all times Operate hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing Support the installation of rebar, metal studs, and framing components according to schematics and blueprints Mix and pour concrete, operate concrete pumps, and assist with concrete finishing and formwork setup Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support masonry, roofing, flooring, and stucco applications Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements for tasks like tile laying, trim carpentry, or plastering Assist with the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when certified and trained Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic masonry or carpentry techniques Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions Valid driver's license suitable for commercial driving if required for site access or material transport Strong commitment to safety protocols and teamwork in a fast-paced environment This role is perfect for individuals eager to build a career in construction while gaining diverse experience across multiple trades.
