The Role:
We're looking for an experienced, "get-it-done" Construction & Building Repair Technician who can tackle larger property improvement and repair projects with little supervision. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can see a project through from start to finish. This is not a typical apartment maintenance position. We're looking for someone with strong construction skills who can handle repairs and projects that go beyond day-to-day maintenance. You're the right fit if you're proficient in: Dry rot repair and wood replacement Structural framing and carpentry Balcony and stair rebuilds Concrete repair and small concrete projects Siding, fascia, and exterior building repairs Door and window replacement General construction and property improvement projects Measuring accurately and creating material lists Working independently and problem-solving in the field
Requirements:
Proven construction, carpentry, or building repair experience (required) Experience with dry rot and structural repairs preferred Able to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and basic construction tools Valid driver's license and clean background Strong work ethic and attention to detail Positive attitude and team player
Bonus Skills:
Welding or fabrication experience Concrete forming and finishing Roofing repairs Equipment operation Multi-family property experience
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay: $19+/hr depending on experience Paid Time Off 401(k) Health Insurance
