This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial builds to residential developments, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge. As a Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward safely and efficiently. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and saws to support various construction activities Prepare and install formwork and rebar for concrete pouring, ensuring alignment with blueprint specifications Perform concrete cutting, finishing, pouring, and stucco application to achieve high-quality results Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately according to project requirements Support carpentry tasks including metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering, caulking, and other finishing work Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive role preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and basic machinery maintenance Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and proper use of hand tools and power tools Understanding of safety regulations specific to construction workplaces and commitment to adhering to safety protocols at all times Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly contribute to building structures that stand the test of time!
