Job Description
Arizona Pipeline Company is a leading utility infrastructure contractor specializing in natural gas, underground utility installation, and pipeline construction. Position Summary Arizona Pipeline Company is looking for hardworking, dependable Laborers to join our growing team. This position supports underground utility crews by assisting with excavation, pipeline installation, traffic control, jobsite preparation, cleanup, and general construction duties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or build a career in the utility construction industry. Responsibilities Assist crews with underground utility and natural gas pipeline installation. Use hand tools to safely excavate around existing underground utilities to prevent damage. Assist with excavation, trenching, shoring, backfilling, and site restoration. Load and unload tools, equipment, and construction materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment. Assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety as needed. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and customer requirements. Work safely around heavy equipment and in active construction zones. Complete other duties as assigned by the Foreman Work Environment Outdoor work in various weather conditions. Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Work performed around heavy equipment, open excavations, and active construction zones. Ability to remain alert and work safely in high-risk environments. All jobsite communications and safety instructions are provided in English. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid California Driver's License required. Construction or underground utility experience is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn a skilled trade. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 90 pounds repeatedly. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation to assigned job sites. Schedule Full-time position. Day, night, weekend, and overtime work may be required based on project schedules, customer needs, and emergency response work. Must be flexible and available to work varying shifts when necessary. Pre-Employment Requirements Pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing. Successfully complete a background check.
