Full Job Description PURPOSE:
We are looking for a dedicated Laborer Helper to join our residential framing crew. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in constructing the framework of residential buildings, including single-family homes, townhouses, and multi-family units. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry. Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, and other materials. Help assemble and install framing components such as walls, floors, and roofs. Carry and transport materials and tools to and from the worksite. Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Follow safety regulations and company standards to ensure a safe working environment. Perform basic construction tasks as directed by the lead carpenter or supervisor.
KNOWLEDGEEXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.
SKILLSABILITIES
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus. Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and manual labor. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
