In this energetic role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing various construction tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to the successful completion of diverse construction projects, from residential to commercial developments. This position offers an engaging environment where your physical effort and attention to detail make a real impact, all while adhering to strict safety standards. Duties Assist with the setup, dismantling, and maintenance of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools Support concrete-related tasks such as mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure high-quality finishes Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprint specifications for structural integrity Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute project requirements Operate heavy machinery like concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and efficiently under supervision Perform heavy lifting tasks while maintaining proper safety protocols to prevent injuries Contribute to the installation of hardscape features such as paving stones or retaining walls, ensuring precise placement and alignment Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently, including proper use of hand tools, power tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist in finishing tasks such as plastering, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, and concrete finishing to meet project standards Support site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe and productive work environment Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scope and materials handling Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately Knowledge of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, saws for cutting concrete or rebar, and other relevant equipment Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding as needed Skills in carpentry, metal stud framing, formwork construction, rebar installation, concrete pouring/finishing, tile laying or stucco application are highly desirable Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with team members and supervisors Join us in building structures that stand the test of time!
