experienced Dig-Up / Construction Plumbers! We are looking for dependable, hardworking plumbers who have hands-on experience digging, exposing, repairing, and replacing underground plumbing and piping systems. This is a physical, hands-on plumbing position. You MUST be comfortable digging holes and trenches by hand.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This position focuses on commercial underground plumbing repairs and construction-related plumbing work, including: Digging holes and trenches by hand using shovels and hand tools Locating and exposing underground plumbing and piping Repairing and replacing damaged underground pipe Sewer and drain line repairs Water line repairs Excavating around existing utilities and plumbing Removing dirt, concrete, debris, and other materials as needed Preparing areas for pipe installation and repair Installing and connecting new piping Backfilling excavated areas after repairs Assisting with concrete removal and restoration when required Taking before, during, and after photos of work Keeping the jobsite clean and organized Following all company and jobsite safety procedures Working as part of a plumbing crew to complete jobs efficiently
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Applicants MUST have previous experience with underground plumbing or construction plumbing. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience: Digging holes and trenches by hand Exposing underground pipe Repairing underground plumbing Replacing damaged pipe Working with sewer, waste, drain, and water piping Using hand and power tools Working safely around underground utilities Performing physically demanding construction work Commercial plumbing experience is strongly preferred.
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
Schedule flexibility is required for this position. Our commercial customers often require underground plumbing and construction work to be completed outside normal business hours.
Applicants MUST be available for:
Early morning work Night work Regular daytime work as scheduled Occasional weekend work Start times and schedules may vary depending on the project and customer's requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a physically demanding position.
Candidates must be able to:
Dig for extended periods using a shovel and hand tools Work inside trenches and excavated areas Lift and carry pipe, tools, equipment, dirt, and materials Bend, kneel, squat, climb, and work in confined areas Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Safely perform construction and excavation-related tasks
